Description

Peppermint oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh aerial parts of peppermint. The most active components are menthol and menthone. There are very few problems this oil cannot help with. It is recommended mainly for its soothing effect on the digestive tract, thanks to its ability to reduce muscle spasms. But it has many other beneficial properties: anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, pain-relieving, vasodilating, choleretic, appetite-stimulating, tonic and refreshing.
