Information

Each Vivoo test strip contains 13 different chemical pads, or reagents, that react (change colour) when they come into contact with urine. Once all the reagents on the test strip have come into contact with urine, they undergo a chemical reaction for 90 seconds.

Vivoo test strips test for 9 elements in each person's body:

  • vitamin C
  • magnesium
  • calcium
  • sodium
  • oxidative stress
  • pH
  • water
  • ketones
  • protein

The Vivoo test strip is specially designed with a long handle for convenience. You can urinate directly on the strip or collect urine in a cup and dip the test strip into it.

Specific information about each element:

Water: Testing urine for water levels can help determine whether you are drinking enough fluids to stay well hydrated. Dehydration can cause a number of symptoms, including headaches, fatigue and dizziness.

pH: Urine pH shows how acidic or alkaline your urine is, serving as an indicator of your health. With regular testing, you can find the cause of frequent infections and discomfort, eliminate foods that cause acidity, prevent kidney stones before they cause problems, and help prevent more serious diseases such as cancer.
Symptoms of a disturbed acid–base balance can appear as excess body weight or as conditions such as allergies, arthritis, acne and fungal infections.

Protein: Testing urine for protein levels can help identify kidney damage or disease, as well as other health problems such as urinary tract infections or diabetes.
This test helps athletes check whether they are getting enough protein, an important element for building muscle mass

Ketones: The test is suitable for people following a keto diet. It helps them determine whether they are in ketosis (when the body burns fat for energy instead of carbohydrates).
People with diabetes are also advised to measure the ketone levels in their urine regularly, as they are linked to blood sugar levels.

Calcium: Calcium levels are crucial for healthy bones and preventing osteoporosis. Insufficient calcium intake can have negative health consequences.

Magnesium: Low magnesium levels lead to muscle cramps, fatigue and sleep problems. Testing allows deficiencies to be corrected. The optimal amount of magnesium in the body also supports brain function and the body's overall well-being.

Vitamin C: Testing vitamin C levels is the quickest way for anyone to find out whether their immune system has the protection it needs, and it may be linked to frequent illness. Optimal amounts of vitamin C in the body help maintain healthy skin, gums and teeth, aid recovery from illness, support immune function and reduce the risk of chronic disease.

Sodium: A healthy sodium balance in the body is crucial for blood pressure and fluid balance. Sodium is an important electrolyte found in salt and many foods. Adequate intake is necessary for good health, but excessive consumption can lead to health problems.

Oxidative stress: Oxidative stress is an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in our body. When we have too many free radicals and not enough antioxidants, our cells and tissues begin to be damaged, leading to various health problems. Elevated levels of MDA (malondialdehyde), which the test detects, indicate higher levels of free radical damage, which also increases the risks of fatigue, hair loss, depression, accelerated ageing and lower energy.
