Fresh black grape extract is made from whole grapes (skin, pulp and seeds), which provides the full spectrum of the fruit's nutrients and biologically active compounds.
Internally for adults: 2 tsp a day, ideally in the morning on an empty stomach.
Internally for children over 5: 1 tsp a day, ideally in the morning on an empty stomach.
Caution! The amount of resveratrol naturally found in food is considered safe for daily consumption. Low to moderate doses of resveratrol are considered safe, even when taken over long periods. Higher doses of up to 3,000 milligrams a day can be taken safely for up to six months, but some people report stomach upset.
*The absorption of black grape extract follows the circadian rhythm, with the same dose being more bioavailable in the morning than in the afternoon or evening.
*Most studies find that, in practice, black grape extract is best absorbed when taken on an empty stomach and in the absence of fatty acids.
*Polyphenolic compounds are resistant to heat treatment.
Caution! This product is not a medicine! It should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet! Do not exceed the recommended daily dose!
If taken together with medicinal products, consult a pharmacist!
*The effects, methods of use and dosages cited in Botalife's articles and in the leaflets enclosed with each product apply only to Botalife-branded products, for which Botalife guarantees the concentration, purity, quality and origin of the oils.
1. Cancer prevention: Many studies show that black grape extract and its high concentration of resveratrol can help prevent and have a beneficial effect on some types of cancer. Its anti-tumour effects include inhibiting cancer cell growth, cell signalling and angiogenesis, and promoting cell death. Studies have found that resveratrol negatively affects cancer at all stages of development and reduces tumour growth by 67% with regular use.
According to another study, researchers also found that resveratrol makes chemotherapy more effective by blocking chemotherapy-resistant proteins.
2. Cardiovascular disease: Numerous studies examine the role of black grape extract in preventing and managing cardiovascular disease. Resveratrol shows protective effects against damage to blood vessels and improves circulation. Studies also show that it lowers cholesterol levels and prevents the formation of blood clots. Many researchers have concluded that black grape extract contains valuable micronutrients that help prevent heart disease in people at risk and can help people with progressive cardiovascular disease.
3. Dementia and Alzheimer's disease: The anti-inflammatory properties of black grape extract are effective in controlling inflammation throughout the body, including the brain. Neuroinflammation (inflammation of parts of the nervous system) is one of the factors contributing to the progression of brain-related problems such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia and multiple sclerosis.
One study followed participants with Alzheimer's disease for 52 weeks to observe the therapeutic effects of black grape extract. One control group received a placebo and another black grape extract. In the placebo group, neurological biomarkers continued to decline during the observation period. However, the group receiving daily doses of black grape extract saw these same biomarkers stabilise.
4. Diabetes: Black grape extract has shown health benefits for people with type 2 diabetes in several studies. For example, researchers often see improvements in serum lipid (cholesterol) and glucose (sugar) levels after regular intake of black grape extract for 6 months.
Studies show that the resveratrol in black grape extract reverses insulin resistance, lowers blood sugar levels and even lowers high blood pressure – a condition many people with diabetes have.
5. Strengthens the immune system
6. Gives the body energy and tone
7. A powerful antioxidant
8. Reduces inflammation
9. Prevention of cardiovascular disease
10. Improves circulation by strengthening the capillaries, arteries and veins
11. Lowers high blood pressure and cholesterol
12. Has a beneficial effect on the skin and improves eyesight
13. Boosts the body's defences
14. Supports metabolism and digestive tract health
15. Helps regulate body weight
16. Counters the negative effects of stress (physical and mental), emotional stress, depression and neurosis.

The great variety of biologically active compounds found in black grapes makes them the subject of intensive scientific research. Among the most significant are polyphenols, including resveratrol, quercetin, anthocyanidins, phytoestrogens and others. They are found mainly in the seeds and skin, but also in the pulp. Whole grapes also contain vitamin A (beta-carotene); vitamin B1 (thiamine); vitamin B2 (riboflavin); vitamin B4 (choline); vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid); vitamin B6 (pyridoxine); vitamin B8 (inositol); vitamin B9 (folic acid); vitamin K (phylloquinone); vitamin C (ascorbic acid); vitamin E (tocopherol); vitamin PP (niacin), Ca (calcium); Mg (magnesium); K (potassium); Zn (zinc); Cu (copper); Mn (manganese); Fe (iron); Na (sodium); Se (selenium); P (phosphorus); F (fluorine), and others.
Fresh black grape extract is made from whole grapes (skin, pulp and seeds), which provides the full spectrum of the fruit's nutrients and biologically active compounds.
Black grapes have a highly concentrated resveratrol content. Resveratrol has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it a great way to help prevent diseases such as cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.
The anti-inflammatory effects of black grape extract make it a good remedy for soothing arthritis and skin inflammation. In addition, black grape extract has antibacterial and antifungal properties that are beneficial for urinary tract and digestive tract infections.
Polyphenols such as resveratrol are important for protecting the body from cell damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals form in the body naturally when it breaks down food, when you inhale cigarette smoke or if you are exposed to radiation. They are unstable, attack cells and are responsible for the development of some age-related diseases.
